Yesterday rooms 2 and 3 went to camp at Castlepoint. We went sand duning down big sand hills.While they did that some people went swimming in the sea. It was fun and cold at the same time,big and small waves hit us but it was still FUN!.For dinner we had baked beans and sauages. It was yum!When we came back rooms 1 and 4 went to camp. CAMP AND KAYACKING

Next week Wednesday is Lakeview school camp at Castle Point and we are very excited to be pe going, but we need more parents and we need our notices back with the money a.s.a.p. Before you can go technology fees have to be paid .

What great weather! except heard a rumour it's going to rain this weekend.
Hopefully will be fine next Monday when we go kayaking. Remember though you will need your permission slip in and have at least contacted the office about any unpaid tech fees. We are also still looking for parent helpers. Please!?

Had a good day at athletics yesterday - some great high-jumping!
We're hoping it will stay fine for the sprints tomorrow.

Took a small group swimming at lunchtime - they reckoned it was great so start bringing your togs. Even if it's not our time you never know when we may be able to fit in a quick swim.

Remember that tech fees need to be paid and that kayaking is coming up soon. Room 3 is on Monday the 15 of November from 1.30 - 3.00. Ask your parents if they can come along. It will be fun.
The uniform is looking good so keep up the great work.
Great work to the Lakeview School Band 24/7. They won again! The band is competing in Palmerston North. Hopefuly they'll win again.
The year 8 dinner is coming up so get your dancing shoes on!
Athletics is starting so girls and boys bring a spare pair of shorts.
Camp is also coming up. Those people who haven't yet paid their tech fees won't go so get them paid. Camp will be fun as we are going to Castle Point. What fun. Ask your parents if they can come.

Week 3

Pet Day tomorrow. Make something in the morning, bring your pet in the afternoon.
Hopefully we can start kayaking soon, remember we'll need parent help.
Hope some of you have started designing your raft for the end of the year.
Camp is getting closer. remember you will have had to have paid your technology fees before this.
Homework for this week is the sheet with South Africa on it.
